Looking to learn the cello but unsure where to start?

Learning a new instrument—or picking it up again after years—takes courage and can  feel overwhelming. To me, learning the cello should be enjoyable and structured, focusing on natural, tension-free technique while exploring music that inspires you.

Music-making is more than just playing notes; it’s about self-expression, problem-solving, and joy!

About me

My name is Dorelle, and I have been playing the cello and piano since childhood. I grew up in Paris and pursued a double degree in music and 3D animation, as I’ve always been passionate about the arts in all their forms.

Teaching has always been an essential part of my journey. I built a small class of mostly teens/adult beginners, happily teaching music theory and cello side by side—creating a solid foundation for progress.

Additionally, I worked as an assistant teacher at the Huy Academy for three summers, working with both children and adults.
